Size Guide Toddlers
To ensure that you are choosing the perfect size for your little one, please follow this guide. To determine the perfect size for your child, you will need to measure three things: Length, Width and Girth.
Length
Width
Girth
To obtain the correct measurement, it is necessary to strictly follow some very important steps.
!!! IMPORTANT !!! It should be noted that 6, 7mm means one size and over 10mm can easily mean two sizes, and we have a clear recommendation depending on the chosen model:
- For Bootees Sandals, Shoes and Ankle Boots (with vegetal lining) it is recommended to choose a size 3-4mm larger
- For Boots and Ankle Boots with a wool/sheepskin lining, it is recommended to choose a size 7mm larger
Step 1: When measuring the LENGTH of the feet, we will need a pen, a sheet of paper, a ruler or a tape measure (DO NOT use a tailor’s tape measure) and of course a foot.
Step 2: Place the bare foot on a sheet of paper, then trace 2 lines, one at the level of the big toe and one at the level of the heel, as perpendicular as possible to the foot.
Step 3: Using either a ruler or a tape measure (again, NOT a tailor’s tape measure), measure the distance between the lines.
Step 4: Exactly like in step 2 and 3 you will need to draw parallel lines to the left-most and right-most parts of the foot. Then measure the distance between the lines.
Step 5: In addition to Length and Width, the next equally important point is the Circumference in the instep area. With a tape measure wrapped around the highest point of the foot, the thickness or Circumference in the instep area is determined.
Step 6: Measurements are taken in cm, and after determining the number of cm for each foot, consult the Size Chart which is located just below.
There are pictograms for all 3 operations. Please take the measurement process very seriously and try to follow the instructions described as much as possible!
